    Speaker: Sandra Orum, HR Specialist, Southern Poverty Law Center

    Objective: To raise awareness of the uniqueness of individual religions and beliefs.  Also, to help promote understanding and respect for the diversity of religious traditions through open discussion and dialogue.

    Speaker Bio: Sandra Orum has been an HR professional for 20 years and is currently the HR Specialist at Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery, AL.  In addition to Sandra’s responsibilities as SPLC’s HR Specialist, she is responsible for building community relationships by representing SPLC at local events such as the Montgomery Commerce Diversity Summit and SHRM functions. Sandra also partners with local colleges and universities in the southeast region by holding employment information sessions and acting as the HR outreach representative. Sandra serves on the Career Advisory Committee at Carver High School in Montgomery, Al and is extremely active in the Montgomery community.
